When we think about a public cultural center in Myeongdong area, our main focus is to design a reconizable spot in the neighborhood, where poeple do know it as a public space and enjoy activities inside.

In order to achieve this aim, we propose a landmark building, in a site located in the bifurcation of an important access road. Rather than advertisements and information signs in the facase, we leave the continuity of the contexte facade to keep the same language in both side of this conflictual site to emphasize the interior of our building, the heart of the building forms a strong object and will be the eye catcher.
